Early in the morning we arrive in MANNHEIM, where you will have free time to explore on your own this university city on the Rhine and Neckar rivers. Mannheim is where Karl Drais built the first two-wheeled vehicle in 1817, where Carl Benz’s first automobile rolled through the streets in 1886, and where Julius Hatry even built the world’s first rocket plane in 1929. There is also an optional excursion to HEIDELBERG and its famous castle (bookable on board with a minimum number of participants). Overnight navigation.

Today we will enjoy the capital of French Alsace, STRASBOURG, one of the most picturesque cities and regions in Europe. In the morning, you may choose to explore the city on your own or join a guided tour, first by coach and then on foot through its historic center and main landmarks.
After lunch, you will have free time or the option to delve deeper into French Alsace by visiting one of its most important towns, COLMAR. Overnight sailing.

In the early morning, we arrive in KARLSRUHE. Located in the Rhine Valley between the Black Forest, the Vosges, and the Palatinate Forest, Karlsruhe is a hub of technology and science and home to GERMANY’S most important courts. Free time to explore the city.In the afternoon, we will visit SPEYER, a small German town of just about 50,000 inhabitants located on the banks of the Rhine, in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
You will have free time to stroll through its streets and visit the largest Romanesque cathedral that has survived to this day: the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption and Saint Stephen, one of the three so-called Imperial Cathedrals of Germany, along with those of Mainz and Worms. Overnight sailing.

We wake up in WORMS, an important city that is home to another Pearl of the Rhine, St. Peter´s Cathedral. This historic city was deeply involved in the religious conflict between Catholics and Protestants with the signing of the Edict of Worms by the newly crowned Emperor Charles V against Luther. By mid-afternoon, we will arrive in RÜDESHEIM where we will spend the night. Overnight in Rüdesheim.

Today we will experience one of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe and the most famous stretch of the Rhine; the "Romantic Rhine." This 65-kilometer route, between RÜDESHEIM and KOBLENZ, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its scenic beauty and historical significance, filled with castles, vineyards, and legends such as the siren "Loreley." In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Koblenz, a city we’ll have the opportunity to explore during this full day. Overnight sailing.

We arrive early in one of GERMANY’S most prominent cities: COLOGNE. During the optional walking tour, we’ll explore the historic center of this ancient city, ending at its main attraction — the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), which is the seat of the Archbishop. The afternoon is free to enjoy its breweries, shopping streets, and perfumeries, or take the opportunity to visit the nearby cities of Bonn or Düsseldorf. After dinner, we depart for Koblenz. Overnight sailing.

After breakfast, we will proceed with disembarkation. At 9:00 a.m., you must vacate your cabins, but you may leave your luggage on board and stay in common areas or go out to enjoy the city. End of services in Mainz.
